Corporate Communications Assistant

Our Corporate Communications Assistant will be responsible for developing marketing and advertising content, updating our websites and brochures, maintaining social networking profiles, creating content for blogs, issuing press releases, and ghostwriting content for principals of the firm. This individual will also be responsible for administrative duties for the office.

Job description and duties:

  1. Developing marketing and advertising content
  2. Updating the content on our corporate websites
  3. Developing and maintaining social networking profiles
  4. Issuing press releases and award nominations
  5. Creating content for blogs and social networking sites
  6. Ghostwriting content for principals
  7. Manage scheduling for consulting staff
  8. Bookkeeping duties for firm and clients
  9. Prepare deposits and ACHing client funds
  10. Perform light IT and HR functions
  11. Manage and perform administrative duties of the office
  12. Provide administrative assistance to entire staff
  13. Answer phones
  14. Perform mailing duties
  15. Scan and copy documents
  16. Assist in maintaining a pleasant office environment (light cleaning, watering plants, etc.)
  17. Assist in special projects
  18. Misc. administrative duties (make coffee, make deliveries, etc.)

Job requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in journalism or communications
  2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  3. Energetic and enthusiastic personality
  4. Familiarity with social networking websites (e.g. Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter)
  5. Good computer skills, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
  6. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Compensation:
